This is my favorite photo because of the point of view of the picture and because of the simple background.
I took this photo for the Compositional Elements unit and I like it a lot. It shows something as being peaceful
and quiet and reflects well on the state of nature. In this unit I Iearnt a lot about the different components that
make a good picture and that there are many other things that determine the success of a photo. This photo
also shows harmony and that is why I decided to take this picture.

Bai Xin Zhuang Village Best Three Photos
For my Culture Clash I decided to put many of the photos that I took in China and combine it with this photo of the ocean in Maine. For starters I put
picture from the Village that we visited into the photo so that there would be a deep contrast between the environment and the objects placed within.
By looking at the kid's clothes we know that he does not belong here and that he is from a relatively poor district, judging from his clothes. I also added
a dragon,Chinese flag, Temple of Heaven and a fish decorant into the photo. These objects really stand out in the picture since they are unique to China
and reflects a lot of its' history and culture. Finally i also added Beijing's very polluted air since I was sure that the students at Yarmouth would be shocked
at the amount of pollution in Beijing. Also to show the huge difference of air quality between Beijing and Maince and I am sure that they will be surprised at
how grey the sky is here compared to the blue skies that they have.
