I picked this photo because it's one of my favorite photo's that I have taken so far during this course. I took this photo during our Portraits unit. It was the last photo in a series. Even though this isn't one of my best photo's in terms of techniques, I feel like it's one of my best photo's in terms of capturing the emotions of my subject. The tone of this photo is very carefree and joyful, which is one of the reason's it is one of my favorites. I used the rule of thirds in this photo and I think the children's playground in the background adds to the tone, very fun and easy.

Culture Clash
culture_clash_wiki.jpg
My culture clash image incorporates the "American" image and the "Chinese" image. The children symbolize the youth of the world and how they are growing up in their own "culture clash." Things like Mcdonalds, which is in the image, has spread all over the world, and is now part of China.
